Nana's School

Nana's education is in full force. Singing has been high on the academic chart after a .50 purchase at Vicky's garage sale and some batteries. Even Ally tried after having to do the army/body wiggle crawl.




Both are still trying to figure out what to do with their tongues.





Ally always has questions.



A field trip to Adler Park found us learning about ants and how they climb up trees, Ally wasn't interested yet.






It was exhausting for both.




Indoor skating is still fun while Ally gives her dolly a squeeze.




Laughing at me is always a great pastime and photo opportunity.




I also had a lesson not to leave rubber bands on doorknobs anymore. I'm not sure what he was trying to do.



Peyton is so helpful when Ally is fussy, he's been giving her his finger.



But she is usually happy and so sweet as you can see. (I hope it doesn't hurt her eyes to have her picture taken so often).

Some new travels

The weather has been getting warmer over the last two weeks and we spent more time outside. A walk around the neighborhood found us on safari with our binoculars spying on ducks. We also found a new park for 2-5 year olds. Peyton of course loved it and didn't want to leave. Ally peacefully sleep on the whole trip. One day we went to a garage sale given by our friends Vicky and Mia. Ally played in the stroller and Peyton made new friends. Ally got a new toy and was quite amazed.... and you guessed it, so was Peyton. Ally's also learning to eat off a spoon. There is a learning curve to this so don't worry. Really..Spring is here!!!!

The weather the last two weeks has been lovely and the kids make it extra special. 
Peyton got a new blanket with Frogs, I don't think he was too impressed. He's also been trying to put on his own clothes. We've been outside getting our vitamin D. Tried to get Peyton to work but he just sat down on the job. He did find a flower and thought it was great fun to throw dirt and play in the leaves. Ally wanted the grass and flowers too. She really enjoys her brother, and he still enjoys finishing her bottle.

Spring is here!!! Sort of......

We have been trying to get outside for the last two weeks but the weather isn't very cooperative..... so, we got out the play dough....don't eat it. Can you see it between his front teeth....GUILTY!!!!! I finally finished Ally's hat, isn't she adorable. Peyton really like it too. Peyton lets Ally sit with him.... he's even showing her around the iphone. and here it is!!!Finally, outside!!! And a new toy. Then to the park for lots of fun. Peyton is so brave, he is even wall climbing. I hope there's no broken bones in his future. He seems pretty sure footed. Ally wasn't impressed by this swing, the one she has at home is more comfortable.
Grandpa's been showing Peyton some of his computer games....jk...it's PBS, I saved the site in his favorites so he can find it. Peyton can't wait for him to get home so he can play. The Gram Cam

Practice, practice, practice!!

Adorable PJ morning started out the week. It's been rainy outside so we practice some of our inside stuff like this new Elmo book...... and how to eat yogurt with a spoon, good thing he wore his new bib. Ally's practicing sitting up.... just being pretty in pink (she doesn't need much practice at that)... and getting control of those delicous fingers.The biggest hit was my new Iphone application Elmo's Monster Maker. Peyton practiced and... practiced...... and practiced until I had to recharge my phone. He's having a little trouble learning to sleep in a small space. The Gram Cam

 

Peyton really likes the snow, even eats it, I did keep an eye out for anything yellow. We got out the double stroller and took it for a spin. Peyton didn't seem impressed but he didn't complain, and Ally found it boring I think.
